Duration: 1st year, 2nd year & 3rd year - 9 Months 

Beginning Fall 2011, Ignite’s 9 Month Internship will be Ignite School of Ministry. After 4 years of existence the leadership of Ignite felt led by God to take Ignite’s 9 Month internship up a few notches and turn it into a 3 year school of ministry.  With the same heart of the 9 Month Internship, the School of Ministry will challenge and mold you into today’s minister.  

Ignite School of Ministry is composed of 3 years design to radically change your life. The first year is an intense 9 months designed to transform your heart from a young adult to a sold out disciple of Christ. Second year continues in the transformation alongside the information part of ministry. You will be a part of Southeastern University’s Academy program; this will enable you to be a certified minister through the Assemblies of God. Third year’s concentration is on the application of  the information learned in prior years. Alongside intense Ignite leadership classes you will continue your education at SEU’s Academy at Licensure level. Third year also offers opportunity to serve as leader & mentor in the Ignite Life Center Campus.

 

Overview

1st year – HEART (Transformation)

This is a year of transformation, as we call it the Transformational year. The question that is resounding today in ministry is not, “Are you willing to let God use you?” Rather the question is, “Are you willing to let God mold you so that he can use you?” We dare state and believe that in ministry today there are many great sprinters, but not enough finishers of the race. When coming in for your first year, you will be inundated with life changing experiences that will transform you into the person that God is calling you to be.

Tuition: $ 5, 500

Meal Plan (Strongly Recommended) $1, 600

*We strongly recommend all 1st year students to get the meal plan. Students may find it difficult to accommodate themselves away from home, having a meal plan allows the student to transition onto being on their own.

 

2nd year – MIND (Information)

Do you think you are willing to finish this race that you started? It is only expected that after being transformed by the power of God in a 9-month period that you finish strong. The 2nd year is what we call the year of information. It is here where you will begin your leadership journey. You will be prepared mentally, intellectually, and academically. The knowledge obtained during the 2nd year will prove to be indispensable for longevity in leadership and will establish some paradigms that will lead you to become a better leader for today. This year you will be challenged to become a better leader for tomorrow and on how to do that. - Southeastern University Accredited Courses ( Credential Level)

Cost of Tuition: $ 6,000 (Includes Southeastern University Accredited Courses and Books)

Meal Plan: $ 1,600

 

3rd year – HANDS (Application)

The bible says in Matthew 22:14, “Many are called but few are chosen.” In this 3rd year of Ignite you will commence a “hands on ministry” approach, while still learning some timeless lessons, such as conflict resolution, counseling, communication in ministry, budgeting, and team building. After three years of being in Ignite you will believe and know that nothing is impossible for you. - Southeastern University Accredited Courses ( License Level)

 

FAQ

Do I have to complete all 3 years?
No you do not, however, we encourage you to. 

If I’m a 9 Month alumni & am interested in joining the School of Ministry, can I do so?
Yes, after application process & interview, 9 Month alumni will be eligible to enter as 3^rd year students.

If I’m a current student at a ministry internship or bible college, can I transfer?
Current students of ministry internships and bible college may enter as first year students. Credits will be reviewed for admission into SEU Academy.

What does tuition cover?
It includes housing, enrollment and materials for ignite courses, cross-country ministry trips (meals included) and ministry uniform.

What does the meal plan cover?
The meal plan covers 9 meals a week, Tuesday-Saturday. (Sunday & Monday are days off)

Am I required to have a meal plan?
Meal plans are not required but recommended.

Can I pay the meal plan by semester?
The meal plan is broken up into $800 for Fall semester & $800 Spring semester

What about transportation?
Transportation is not provided, students are recommended to bring their own vehicle. If student does not have a vehicle,  RTS bus pass can be purchased.

Can I pay tuition monthly?
Yes, monthly installments can be made.
